Budget Highlights
The FY 2025 Executive Budget recommends a $11.1 million All Funds appropriation to support an agency workforce of 105 FTEs. This is a $1.3 million increase from the previous fiscal year attributed to general salary increases, funding to update legacy systems, and other resources to help the agency better meet its mission. The agency's workforce estimate remains unchanged from the previous fiscal year.
Program Highlights
In addition to their core mission, the OIG provides dedicated oversight for ongoing planning, design and construction of large-scale infrastructure projects throughout the State and conducts independent audits of the State's 22 public forensic testing laboratories. Additionally, the OIG provides training to State entities under their jurisdiction, preventing violations before they occur.
