Special Emergency Appropriation

Budget Highlights

The Special Emergency Appropriation provides authority for the disbursement of additional State Funds in the event of an emergency affecting the State of New York, such as a natural or man-made disaster, including public health emergencies. The FY 2022 Executive Budget recommends a $2 billion appropriation.
