Mission
The Office of Victim Services provides compensation to innocent victims of crime in a timely, efficient and compassionate manner; funds direct services to crime victims via a network of community-based programs; and advocates for the rights and benefits of all innocent victims of crime.
Budget Highlights
The FY 2017 Executive Budget recommends $119.4 million for the Office of Victim Services, an increase of $6.9 million over FY 2016, which is directly attributable to additional Federal grant funds which support the Victim and Witness Assistance Program. The Executive Budget also recommends a workforce of 74 FTEs, unchanged from FY 2016.
