SUNY is already in the process of implementing the following actions to achieve their savings target:
A careful review of all new personnel transactions.
Reduce or delay of library acquisitions.
Delay of academic and research programs.
Reduce energy consumption.
Delay and reduction of equipment and vehicle purchases.
Scrutinize travel and related expenses.
Expand procurement review.
Consolidate and restructure to maintain core services at a reduced cost.
