    • The Public Employment Relations Board’s (PERB) current-year savings target is $400,000, reflecting the Governor’s order for a 10.35 percent reduction in projected agency spending. PERB is currently expected to achieve its entire $400,000 spending reduction target.
  2. Major Savings Initiatives
    • PERB is already in the process of implementing the following actions to achieve their savings target:
    • Delaying the hiring of 2 new mediators and reducing the use of per diem mediators.
    • Limiting purchases of supplies and materials, restricting travel and controlling miscellaneous contractual services.
