    • OTDA’s current-year savings target is $7.3 million, reflecting the Governor’s order for a 10.35 percent reduction in projected agency spending.
    • OTDA is currently expected to achieve its entire $7.3 million spending reduction target.
  2. Major Savings Initiatives
    • OTDA is already in the process of implementing the following actions to achieve their savings target:
    • Personal service savings related to vacancy control and the transfer of 57 staff to federal funds ($4.0 million).
    • Reduced non-personal service costs and efficiencies related to the Electronic Benefit Payment system ($1.4 million).
    • Reduced computer systems expenditures ($1.9 million).
