Major Savings Initiatives
The Office of Real Property Services is already in the process of implementing the following actions to achieve their savings target:
Adherence to the statewide hiring freeze is expected to lower personnel expenses by $2.3 million; and
Limits on spending for technology upgrades, travel and office supplies are estimated to save $900,000.
