    • NYSERDA’s current-year savings target is $579,000, reflecting the Governor’s order for a 10.35 percent reduction in projected agency spending.
    • NYSERDA is currently expected to achieve its entire $579,000 spending reduction target.
  2. Major Savings Initiatives
    • NYSERDA is implementing the following actions to achieve its savings target:
    • Reduce expenditures for consultant analytical studies to support the update to the State Energy Plan ($101,000);
    • Reduce expenditures for non-personal service costs for production of the State Energy Plan ($30,000);
    • Reduce travel costs for project management, outreach and training ($31,000); and
    • Savings realized from staff vacancies ($417,000).
