DMV’s current-year savings target is $28.8 million, reflecting the governor’s order for a 10.35 percent reduction in projected agency spending and an additional savings of $2.3 million from the Dedicated Highway Bridge & Trust Fund.
DMV is expected to achieve $26.5 million of its $28.8 million spending reduction target. The balance of the spending reduction is being held in abeyance pending determination of revenue collection impacts.
