  2. Major Savings Initiatives
    • CVB is already in the process of implementing the following actions to achieve their savings target.
    • Elimination of five vacant positions, resulting in savings $210,000.
    • Implementing controls on hiring and overtime, resulting in savings of approximately $210,000.
    • Reducing travel, courier and printing services, generating savings of $91,000.
    • Shifting existing General Fund spending, including a portion of rent and office supplies to federal funds, resulting in $45,000 in savings.
