The Banking Department Financial Management Plan achieves its savings target through attrition and personnel management, including a reduction of its targeted workforce by five positions.  The agency also will impose strict controls over nonpersonal service spending in targeted areas such as conference participation, travel, subscriptions, memberships, equipment purchases and supplies.
